Critical Issues Forum: Technology-Facilitated Abuse and Intimate Partner Violence - Technology-Facilitated Abuse and Intimate Partner Violence

Every month, the National Center on Protection Orders and Full Faith & Credit (NCPOFFC) will discuss critical issues and answer questions on protection order practice and related issues.

Participants have the opportunity to connect with peers and NCPOFFC Attorney Advisors to talk about challenges, strategies, emerging issues, promising practices, and more.

On February 14, 2023, at 2 PM EST, Hannah Meropol, Esq., from C.A. Goldberg, PLLC, will discuss the intersection of technology-facilitated abuse and intimate partner violence from a legal perspective. The presentation will broadly define the universe of digital abuse and how it can uniquely affect those experiencing intimate partner violence. The discussion will include guidance on how to best address these unique challenges to support survivors, with particular emphasis on protective orders and image-based abuse.

Bring your questions or submit them in advance through our discussion board. Registration is required to participate in the discussion. We look forward to you joining us!

Unavailable for this discussion? NCPOFFC is available to provide individualized virtual office hours via phone and Zoom.
